World Right to Die Day is celebrated on 2nd November in countries across the world.
Originally founded in France in 2008 at the World Federation of Right to Die Conference, this year it was celebrated in Dublin as Right to Die supporters gathered outside the Oireachtais.
The marking of World Right to Die Day in Dublin was particularly important as the Oireachtais Special Committee on Assisted Dying is taking evidence from national and international witnesses working toward a Report to the Oireachtais in March 2024
