End of Life Ireland

Here's how to get involved

First of all a word of thanks to all of you who have already shown your support through words and actions – as well as supplying us with both monetary donations and valuable services from legal advice to printing our many leaflets and posters.

Everything you do is so appreciated, and we are constantly humbled at how far you will go to show your support for this educational campaign to increase awareness of the need for legislation for Assisted Dying. Let’s all keep up the good work.

What you can do to help give everyone the right to choose for themselves

To help drive this campaign forward, we need to make sure as many people as possible know how important this legislation is  to the people of Ireland – including your local TDs, the Special Committee on Assisted Dying, your GP – and everyone you meet as you go about your day. Here’s a few ideas about how you can make that happen.

Put pen to paper

Adapt this template – letter to TD or Senator – to include your personal details and send it to your TDs (find your TD here), and to each of the members of the Special Committee on Assisted Dying (find the Committee members here)

Share your stories

Stories are the most powerful way to change society. Please share your story  with us stories@endoflifeireland.ie and on social media to help others – including your TDs –  understand why VAD is important to you, and why this legislation is needed.

Volunteer with us

  • We need all types of skills including campaigning, fundraising, marketing, web development, social media strategy and more.
  • We also need more tangible things like photography and videography to  transport and deliveries – and probably many more that we haven’t thought of – so if you’ve got something that you think we might need, please get in touch.
  • If you feel you have the time, the skills or anything else we might need,  please complete our Contact form, or email us at info@endoflifeireland.ie

Support us financially
